Lake District Landscape Photography Holiday – May 2015

Lake District Landscape Photography Holiday – May 2015

I’m putting together a 4 day 3 night trip to the Lakes as a Lake District Landscape Photography Holiday

for the weekend of Friday May 15th to Monday 18th

Here’s a link to the results of this trip – see you on the next one 🙂

The aim (taster images below):

To take some dramatic photos of this awesome location and have a good time taking photos, and for anyone who needs it I’ll be on hand to offer help & guidance, both in shooting and in post-production

—::—

We’ll be taking over a house in the northern Lakes areas, and focusing on the Lakes of Buttermere, Crummock Water, Derwent and the area around Keswick

There are various properties available to rent over this period, and until I have definite numbers of interested parties I can’t give an exact cost, but here’s what’s included…

Food for breakfast & lunch (sarnies crisps etc.) teas & coffee making facilities will be provided

so all you need to provide for is your evening meal and beer!

Sharing a room will be something like £175 for a shared room or £285 ish if you want a single

(could be a double bed or twin beds with only you in that room)

Once there, we’ll travel around in as few cars as possible to ease parking issues and hence save petrol costs too

—::—

Why not Bed & Breakfast instead ???

  • Mostly as you WILL be UP EARLY and out shooting at the times a normal B&B wants you to eat breakie, but also
  • On a trip with me you’re either SHOOTING landscapes, or TALKING about shooting landscapes, which means in the evening we can review what we shot that day, discuss photography techniques and properly plan what we’re going to shoot the following day too. This just isn’t possible in the usual B&B scenario as there’s never a communal room big enough or quiet enough

—::—

You can of course go off and do your own thing

If you want to ensure you get shots no-one else from the group has then please feel free to do your own thing. If you’re a skilled Landscape Photographer then please chip in with any help people need, but for me this will primarily be a teaching trip, so its ideally suited if you’re new to Landscape Photography and wish to improve some aspect, or all, of your photography understanding & techniques
