Rainy Wedding in March at Broadoaks

Rainy March Wedding at Broadoaks

The weekend of 18th/19th March 2017 was special for me as I had the immense pleasure of shooting a Wedding at Broadoaks Country House Hotel on the Saturday followed by a Wedding Fayre at Broadoaks on the Sunday too

Julie & Mike’s Wedding was a short term coverage starting mid afternoon, which is just about when it started to rain and it didn’t truly stop all day. Thankfully though, shortly after the Ceremony the rain eased to a light drizzle and we got out for Group photos followed by a brief session with Julie & Mike just as it started to rain more heavily (you can see drops of rain falling in their closer shots)

What was apparent though was that no-one really cared !!! And everyone was in party mode for the duration

And is if that wasn’t good enough – the following day’s Wedding Fayre at Broadoaks had me speaking at length and very positively to 19 couples; one of whom emailed to Book me just a few days later for a November Wedding at Broadoaks; and just minutes after another couple had emailed to Book me for a January 2018 Wedding at Broadoaks too! AWESOME

Here’s a few shots to give you a taste of a wet March Wedding at my favourite Lake District Wedding Venue
